The Dining Room is open plan, fully air conditioned, and comfortably

glass sliding doors. The room and view certainly give it the WOW factor.
The villa is ideal for golf lovers, romantic getaways, families or the
young at heart. The large spacious rooms and high ceilings give it its
character.
The aim is to provide visitors with above average quality
accommodation that is meticulously clean. The attention to detail both in
and outside of the villa will give you a good start to your holiday. We
believe it is the little things that make a holiday extra special and above
all the villa is situated in a way that will ensure your privacy is always
respected.
Do not forget it will be up to you to get out and enjoy the many
attractions available in Cyprus, whether you enjoy a cultural day out, a day
at the beach, a night on the town or just a relaxing walk along the beach,
it is what you do that will make your holiday unforgettable.
This villa is situated 10 minutes drive to Mandria beach, 15 minutes to
Pissouri beach and the Rock of Aphrodite, 20 minutes from Paphos beach and
45 minutes from the Coral Bay beach.
Sports activities offered include Water Skiing, windsurfing, banana
boats, canoes, pedalos and paragliding. There is a diving centre and boat
trips available in Paphos and the harbour in Paphos is lined with affordable
tavernas.
For the golfer the villa is situated 4 minutes drive from Secret Valley
Golf Club, 5 minutes drive from the Aphrodite Hills Golf Club, Hotel and
Leisure complex and 20 minutes from Tsada Golf Club. The Secret Valley Golf
Club is a challenging 5,900m par 71 course with panoramic sea views. The
Aphrodite Hills Golf Club is an even more challenging 6200m par 72 course
and is set high in the hills. All these courses are playable mostly in
sunshine all year round.
One of the best kept secrets in Cyprus is the availability of skiing. You
can ski from the beginning of January up to the end of March in Troodos
Mountains. The Troodos Mountains are about one and a half hours drive from
the villa. Where else would it be possible to ski in the mountains and swim
in the sea on the same day?
As the villa is conveniently situated just 15 minutes from Paphos and one
and a half hours from Larnaca International Airports, we can organise a taxi
to and from the airports or if preferred a car hire is recommended which can
be organised and paid for locally.
Paphos has amenities to suit everyone, young, old, singles, couples and
families. There are plenty of places to eat and drink. Paphos is a quaint
old town with a daily local market and plenty of shops, all types of water
sports from the beach, plenty of sports facilities, a beautiful and busy
fishing harbour and medieval fort, plus 10000 years of history to discover.
Also, of course, there is an average of 340 days a year of sunshine.
Paphos, therefore, offers a combination of a cosmopolitan holiday resort,
panoramic countryside and historical sites.
As mentioned previously the villa offers the availability of 3 different
golf courses plus water sports, aquarium, wineries, monasteries, Byzantine
churches, archaeological museums, art galleries, Paphos medieval fort,
Paphos harbour, boat trips, water parks, safari trips, fishing, go-karting,
ten pin bowling, mini golf, potteries, lace village, horse riding, donkey
sanctuary, bird park and bird watching, snake park, excursions to Egypt,
Israel, Syria, Lebanon, diving centre, tennis, cycling, hiking/nature
trails, bird watching, internet cafes and fitness centres. Also from the
beginning of January to the end of March there is the availability of skiing
and shooting.
In the villa you will find a wide selection of tourist guides.
A visit to The Retreat Spa at Aphrodite Hills is the ultimate in top to
toe pampering for body and mind. It offers a cool serenity with its monastic
interior and tranquil surroundings and an expert team of therapists.
VENTURE OUT
The very name Cyprus, it is said, shimmers with age-old mystique.
Ravishing five-star resorts within walking distance of Greek and Roman ruins
offer every amenity the modern traveller has come to expect and more
including the thalasso therapy health spas.
Venture away from the shore, if you can bring yourself to, and succumb to
the slow seductive rhythms of the interior of the rest of Cyprus.
Love Goddesses and Sacred Mountains.
Along the route that leads from Secret Valley to Limassol the roadway
opens up to reveal a magnificent stretch of coastline where can be seen
chalky white hills standing watch over a dazzling aquamarine sea.
Here sun worshippers make detours in order to picnic and swim at Petra
tou Romiou, a boulder that marks the spot where it is said Aphrodite emerged
from the sea foam in ancient times. In the Akamas region hikers exploring
the area can cool off in the grotto where the goddess bathed after her
amorous interludes!
Throughout Cyprus the typically Mediterranean landscape is still blessed
with the timeless beauty of antiquity with its crusader fortresses framed by
tall cypress trees, Greco-Roman theatres carved out of cliffs and Byzantine
monasteries perched improbably on mountains. Sophisticated cities
successfully balance the ancient and the modern.
Archaeologists report that Paphos has been inhabited since the Neolithic
period and is the centre of the cult of Aphrodite and of pre-Hellenic
fertility deities. As this is Aphrodite’s legendary birthplace a temple was
erected in the twelfth century BC. The remains of villas, palaces, theatres,
fortresses and tombs of the Classical, Hellenistic and Roman periods mean
that the site is of exceptional architectural and historical value and the
mosaics of Nea Paphos are among the most beautiful in the world.
Old Paphos which is now the site of Kouklia, a five minute drive from
Secret Valley, was seated on an eminence, about ten stadia from the sea and
had a roadstead not far from the promontory of Zephyrium and the mouth of
the little river Bocarus.
New Paphos (Nea Paphos), the currently inhabited town was founded on the
sea and possessed a good harbour. It lay about 15km North West of the old
city and Secret Valley.
The port of Kato Paphos Today Paphos is a popular sea and fast developing
tourist resort, home to an attractive fishing harbour. It is divided into
two major quarters, Ktima on the sea terrace is the main residential
district and Kato Pafos by the sea is built around the medieval port and
contains most of the luxury hotels and the entertainment infrastructure of
the city. The harbours of Paphos are not as important as the shipping goes
via the harbour of Limassol whilst the marina of Paphos is for fishing and
other kinds of interest.
At Paphos harbour stands the Castle of Paphos which was originally built
as a Byzantine fort to protect the harbour but was re-built by the Lisignans
in the thirteenth century. It was dismantled in 1570 by the Venetians who
were unable to defence themselves against the Ottomans who then restored and
strengthened it after capturing the island.
Saranta Kolones, Kato Paphos near the harbour is a castle built in the
first years the Lusignans, around the beginning of the twelfth century ruled
and may be on the site of a previous Byzantine Castle. It was destroyed in
the earthquake of 1222.

Mediterranean can offer. No matter how many times you play the course there
is always a new challenge to conquer the dramatic holes that run alongside
