Facilities
Dining area and lounge: The roomy dining area has a table and six
chairs. Through an arch is the lounge, with neutral coloured sofas and rugs,
a TV with full satellite reception, DVD player, and an open fireplace for
cooler winter nights. A patio door opens onto the pool terrace.
Kitchen: The kitchen is white and modern, with a timber breakfast bar,
and is equipped with a washing machine, electric oven and hob, microwave and
a generous supply of crockery, cutlery, saucepans and utensils.
Bedrooms: Both have ample built-in storage cupboards and hanging space.
The master bedroom (with en-suite facilities) has a king-size bed, while the
other is equipped with two singles. The main bedroom has patio doors leading
onto the pool terrace. There is also a pull-down sofa bed in the lounge.
All linen and towels (except beach towels) are provided.
Bathrooms: Both bathrooms are white and modern. One has a bath with
shower over and the other a walk-in shower, in addition to the usual WC and
wash basin.
General facilities: Each bedroom, and the
remaining area, is fitted with an individual, remote controlled air
conditioner, which can be set to personal requirements. Gas central heating
is supplied to all rooms. The bathrooms have substantial heated towel rails.
Water circulation is powered by an automatic pressure
pump and heated by roof-mounted solar panels, backed up by an immersion
heater.
Outside: The sparkling, kidney shaped private pool is about 8m x 4m,
with a deep end about 2m deep. It is regularly cleaned and maintained by the
owners and in summer the water temperature hovers around a lovely 30 degrees
C. The swimming season (for the less hardy amongst us!) is generally
mid-April to mid-November. Four reclining loungers with mattresses, a table
and four chairs, umbrella and barbecue with charcoal, is provided. There is
parking for one car in the driveway.
Smoking: The owners would prefer guests not to
smoke indoors. An ash tray is provided on the patio table.
