Camares Cottage is ideal for a quiet, relaxing holiday.
This pretty cottage is situated in the small, friendly village of Prastio,
10 minutes from the main Paphos-Limassol motorway and about 15 minutes from
the Mediterranean Sea and the picturesque village of Pissouri.
The stone-fronted cottage, its courtyard garden, and the balcony with views
across the village and the valley to the sea.

needed, but very sensitive in terms of privacy.

We enjoyed our 3 weeks here and hope to return;
will be recommending it to friends. P & A 2005 (they came again in May
2006 for a week and are coming again Oct 2006! AND have already booked
for 2007!! (In fact they like it so much they want to buy it!!!!!!!)
The attention to detail makes this far superior
to any other self catering accommodation I have stayed in, I can’t
wait to recommend it to friends and family. K & J (2004) K came with G
this time, in 2005!
We’ve really enjoyed our stay here and would
have no hesitation in recommending this cottage to friends/relatives.
Very well equipped and it’s great to have owners nearby who are
friendly & helpful without being interfering. R & R 2004. Came again
in 2005 & 2006 AND have booked again for 2007!!!!!!!!!

Facilities
Bedrooms: The main bedroom has a double bed; the second bedroom two
single beds. Both bedrooms have a dressing table with mirror bedside
cabinets, wardrobes and ceiling fans. The patio doors lead onto the balcony
which is shared between the two rooms. There is also a small sitting room
with a studio couch. Both are equipped with ceiling fans.
Washrooms: Bathroom with walk-in shower, hand
basin and WC.
Kitchen: The kitchen area is equipped with gas
cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, juicer, iron and washing machine.
Lounge: The lounge area is spacious, with a comfortable
3-piece suite, and is equipped with a TV/video and a hi-fi with radio, tape
and CD-player. There is Satellite TV in the cottage; it receives most
English Freeview TV programmes. There is a dining table and six chairs. The room has a
ceiling fan.
Outside: From the bedrooms' balcony, the views span the red roofs of the
village houses down the valley to the sparkling blue Mediterranean Sea. The
pretty courtyard area is an ideal spot for relaxing with a cool drink or a
good book. Two sun-loungers, a patio table with 4 chairs and a parasol are
provided.
All bed linen and bath towels are provided (but not beach
towels). In addition to ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living room, heating is available
for the cooler months.
Prastio village has a small shop, taverna and a bank.
There are two superb golf courses with about twenty minutes' drive from the
cottage. Down at Avdimou beach there are two lovely tavernas, Melanda and
Kyrenia, which are well worth a visit. The Troodos Mountains are a 40-minute
drive away. The countryside surrounding the village is ideal for a relaxing
walk and there are plenty of other walks within the locality.
Availability
As of
12 May, the cottage is available for the following dates:
- 20 May 2008 to 28 May 2008: £65 a week off, now
only £230 a week
- 4 June 2008 to 27 June 2008: £40 a week off, now
only £255 a week
- 5 August 2008 to 10 September 2008: £40 a week
off, now only £255 a week
- 24 September 2008 onwards: £40 a week off, now
only £255 a week
Normal arrival and departure days are Wednesdays or Sundays (though
exceptions may be possible in low season).

The studio couch is available for €10 per night, paid locally.
Payment - a 25% deposit on booking, balance a minimum of 6 weeks before
departure.
*Note: the rate charged will be pro-rata, so that
bookings that span two calendar months will depend on the number of days booked
in each month.
