Traditional 2-Bedroom Stone Village House in Pissouri,
Cyprus
Malania Cottage is a beautifully renovated 100 year old
Cyprus village house nestled in the village of Pissouri. The uninterrupted views
from the large veranda and both bedrooms are stunning and reach from the
Mediterranean Sea to the Troodos mountain range in centre of Cyprus. The location of the cottage
means that it is only a two minute stroll to the village centre itself.
It is a traditional house with much of the original
effects restored giving it a unique and tranquil feel and enabling you to
experience the real Cyprus and village life. The walls are natural stone and
the floor is old marble throughout, in the lounge there is also an open fire
for the chillier winter evenings.
Facilities
Bedrooms: The master bedroom has a beautiful 4 poster bed, full
en-suite bathroom, plenty of wardrobe space and remote controlled
air-conditioning unit (which can also heat for use in the chillier months).
The twin-bedded room also has 4 poster beds, a remote controlled air
conditioning unit (with heating facility) and plenty of wardrobe space.
Both bedrooms lead directly out onto a small balcony
which has 2 chairs and a small table on so that the fantastic views over the
village and out to the sea can be enjoyed.
Kitchen/dining room: Fully fitted kitchen with washing machine, microwave, oven and hob,
fridge, radio/CD player, toaster, iron etc.
Lounge:
Beautiful large room with easy chairs, TV
with integral video and numerous videos cassettes to choose from, an open
fire for the cooler months and double doors which lead out onto the front
veranda.
Washrooms: En-suite from master bedroom with
toilet, sink, bidet and bath with overhead shower. Upstairs family bathroom
with toilet, sink, bidet and bath with overhead shower.
Outside: The veranda is very well equipped with a teak round table,
umbrella and 4 teak recliner chairs. There is also a kettle BBQ, outside
sink and traditional Kleftiko oven. The garage is directly under the veranda
and is especially useful to keep the cars cool in the summer months.
General: There is a large swimming pool, restaurant and bar
at the Pissouriana Hotel, which is a 5 minute walk, and can be used by
guests staying in the cottage. The cottage includes a Welcome Pack for new
arrivals containing necessities and it is cleaned between lets. Please provide
your own beach towels.

14 May, the house is available for the following dates:
- 16 May 2008 to 1 August 2008
- 31 August 2008 onwards
Normal arrival and departure days are Wednesdays or Sundays (though
exceptions may be possible in low season).
