Date of visit |
| It was our first visit in Cyprus and we had
quite variable experience: first we stayed in an old house in a very small
village close to the mountains; our conference was in the hotel Le Meridien
in Limassol; the next place was Pissouri. The house in the mountains was not
too bad but much too cold and damp. Le Meridien is a luxury hotel but
majority of the guests seemed to be rich Russians. So I also did not feel
good in that place. So it was a real relief to come to Trahonas. I
immediately felt at home there although I am of course not used to the
terrace with palm trees. The house gives a great feeling of privacy,
comfort and space. The kitchen is so well organized that I immediately could
cook there and I had that feeling that it is a real kitchen, not just made
for tourists, like in many other houses. It actually reminded me my own
kitchen at home (although mine is smaller!) The view from the house can be
watched for hours, especially when weather changes (what happened during out
stay - there were two long storms at night) and the colour of the water is
changing, too. It is of course lovely to have the swimming pool (my husband
swam in it despite the cold water) and those beautiful palm trees. |

| A very big thanks for the fantastic holiday we
have just returned from at your villa. The high standard of facilities and
superb pool and view really made our holiday. I can honestly say that Villa
Trahonas exceeded all our expectations. We intend to return next year but
for two weeks as one week was not long enough and this time we will be
hiring a car so we can venture further afield. Thanks again to you and Winn
for giving us the opportunity and pleasure of of experiencing the joys of
Villa Trahonas. |

| Have once again enjoyed a wonderful two
weeks at Trahonas. Weather beautiful - we have made very good use of the
pool! Have revisited some old favourites, and also been to some new sights -
Kolossi Castle, Latchi, and the ancient site at Kourion. If Alex had his
way, we wouldn't have ventured away from Trahonas (except to visit Fasouri
Watermania at Limassol!!) Enjoyed some lovely evenings out - once again "The
Two Friends" is our favourite for its traditional homecooked food, lovely
atmosphere and super hospitality. Trahonas and Pissouri have become very
special to us and have left us with some lovely memories. I know we'll be
back! |

| Lovely, lovely, lovely. Super two weeks,
heatwave there [Cyprus] whilst you were drowning here [UK]! Makes a change. Normally when
we are away you have a heatwave here and we come back to a shrivelled
garden. Managed to visit some new places, Kouris Dam was very interesting
though very low. Discovered the Ostrich Farm in the hills behind motorway
turnoff to Pissouri which is worth a visit. Olive Oil Museum a bit tame but
interesting drive. Went the scenic route and returned via Avdimou. Much more
sensible route. Glass bottom boat trip was an eye opener for our friends who
turned out not to be the best of sailors!! Enjoyed RAF Band concert at
Paphos Harbour. So lots of different activity despite it being our 4th visit
to the area. Long may it last. |

| Our 3rd time in Cyprus. Kids love it,
especially the pool a fantastic place to cool off. We would recommend
Watermania in Fasouri. The kids had a fantastic time at this water park
although a little pricey adults £15 children £8. Can also recommend the
following beaches for children: Avidmou beach the turning after Melanda
Beach. Also Kourion beach Episkopi through the army barracks, about 20 mins
drive. Kids love it and lovely food at Chris'; blue beach. We all had a
great holiday. |

| Trahonas was a really pleasant place to base
ourselves for our first visit to Cyprus. Very impressed with the villa:
clean, well equipped, fantastic location and very private. We weren't that
impressed with the local beaches but loved the Troodos region. |

| We have enjoyed our stay at Trahonas. The villa
itself is spacious, comfortable and private. The views are lovely. |

| Our first visit and we all had a great time.
Loved the villa and would love to return some time. The village square was a
bonus and we enjoyed long evenings there. No complaints and hope to be back.
Should have booked three and not two weeks |

| Once again two weeks of glorious sunshine in
September, if rather windy at times. Forced ourselves to drive into The
Troodos [Mountains] a few times, and up to Kato Pygros. |

| Just wanted to say what a wonderful time we had
in your villa. It was superb, a marvellous spot - we'll be back. |

6-20 September 2004 |
| A fantastic villa in a picturesque location.
The pool is lovely and much bigger than I thought it would be. Spent a lot
of time in and around it. We were made to feel very welcome by the locals.
- Natalie, 15 yrs Thought the villa looked good on the website, but the
photos don't do it justice. The pool & patio are much bigger than I thought
they would be. The villa is well equipped and very clean. Paradise on
Earth!! |

| Our third time in Cyprus, but still as
fantastic as ever! Thanks Winn and Roger for a great holiday. We recommend
"The Vine Leaf" for the best food (traditional), the village square on
Wednesday nights for the "Cyprus Night". "Fasouri Watermania" is a great day
for the kids. 7.30am for a swim at Aphrodite's Rock if you like a private
swim. A long way to come ... but we'll be back again. |

| Arrived at 10pm in darkness but were pleasantly
surprised on turning on the lights. A lovely villa in a lovely position,
short of nothing. Good eating in most places in the village; everybody very
friendly. Weather a mixed bag, but hey it's February! Highly recommended
any time of year!! |

| The villa was much more than we could possibly
have hoped for: spotlessly clean, extremely well equipped, and in a
fantastic location. The local help at hand was unobtrusive but gave peace of
mind. If we ever come back to Cyprus we would definitely stay at Trahonas,
and we will recommend it to all our friends. Our favourite was The Vine
Leaf: the meze was out of this world! |

| The best-equipped villa we've stayed in. Plenty
of room and a very warm welcome. We've enjoyed walking down to the village
most evenings - watch out for the owls & road works! We've enjoyed our meals
at The Bunch of Grapes, The Two Friends, The Moonlight, The Olympus Palace,
and The Hideaway - all for different reasons: very good value we felt. |

| This is our third visit to Trahonas, which
speaks for itself. We have been impressed by the recent improvements to the
property. We particularly like Pissouri because it has retained the old
Cyprus village atmosphere. We hope it manages to stay that way and that our
fourth visit will be in the not too distant future. |

| Had two weeks of perfect weather and make good
use of the lovely pool. We found lovely scenery in the Troodos, and had an
interesting drive on unmade roads through the forest. Swam in the sea off
Aprodite's Rock which was wonderful. This is our fourth year in Cyprus and
we will be back again. Trahonas was a lovely house to stay in. |

| Trahonas Villa is excellent - the view is a
positive delight. Enjoyed exploring the island villages. However, make sure
before you head up to the villages and mountains that you have a full tank
of fuel - no service stations to be found. All in all we have all had a
great relaxing holiday and say we will return.
Do go to Omodos to see the old ladies making lace. |

We've had a lovely week on Aphrodite's Isle,
Where the blue sky goes on for mile after mile.
In Paphos car-park we got caught unawares,
When a salesman tried to sell us some bargain timeshares.
In the mountains we tasted lots of free wine,
And the views from Olympus were simply divine.
We've been off-road in our four-wheel drive,
At times it felt like the car was alive!
With good food and wine and great company,
The villa Trahonas is the best place to be!With very many thanks

chilled out and refreshed. We have had a fantastic week and look forward to
returning. Will be in touch! |

| Our second holiday in Trahonas. It feels like a
“home from home”. We’ve had a lovely time. Fantastic unspoilt beaches,
windsurfing, eating far too much - we recommend The Two Friends. Plenty of
swimming in our lovely clean pool. We will definitely return! |

| A lovely house on a brilliant site in a
delightful village - we hardly left Pissouri during our holiday (and then
only to eat at Melanda Beach, another beautiful spot). We will be back. |

| Trahonas is a wonderful, peaceful place for a
holiday in the sun. The pool is really special - we spent many hours in it
relaxing after the very hot weather (30-35°C). We will surely be back again
soon. |

| Many thanks for a wonderful holiday. My parents
enjoyed their first visit to Cyprus (at 80 & 81!). Our return here was as
lovely as our initial visit. |

2-16 April 2003 |
| Trahonas has been the perfect base of our
holiday. The villa is so comfortable & well-equipped, and the views are
wonderful. It has been quite a week on the weather front. We've had
torrential rain, gales, thunder, lightning, glorious sunshine - and, this
afternoon, we drove back into the village to find it had been snowing here!
On Thursday evenings, at 8 p.m., it is Quiz Night at The Moonlight. We
had a great time because everyone made us so welcome and found us a team to
join. Recommended! |
