Kolosi Castle - one the famous landmarks of Cyprus, only a 20 minute drive from
Pissouri. Kolosi castle is an crusader castle, built when Cyprus was a staging post on the
route to the Crusades.
Note the angry clouds over the Troodos mountains in the background - the
weather yesterday & today is unusually windy and cloudy for August, with showers in
the mountains.
Tonight is the festival in Pissouri Square. The square is ready (5pm) and by
9pm it will be totally full of local people and holidaymakers.
