The apartment, built within a small residential development, is comfortably furnished and has stunning 270° panoramic views over mountains and sea from the balcony, which is equipped with a table, four chairs and a parasol. As this is a top floor apartment young children should be supervised when on the balcony. "Eirene" is reached from the road by a flight of outside steps and has off-road car parking, and inside is all on one level.

"Eirene" is situated on the outskirts of the village of Pissouri which has a friendly atmosphere. A 10–15 minute walk, during which you will pass a restaurant, a butcher and a supermarket, will bring you to the village centre where you will find St. Andrew’s Orthodox Church, another supermarket, two banks, a bakery, Christina’s gallery and gift shop and a post office. Here you will also find a good selection of tavernas and small bars – quite a few open all year round. Every Wednesday during the summer months, Cyprus Nights are held with music and traditional folk- dancing. Well worth seeing. For those not wishing to walk there are car parks nearby.

Facilities

Bedrooms: The apartment has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds. Both have air-conditioner/heating units, cost included in the price.

Washrooms: Bathroom with W.C. and shower over the bath

Kitchen: The fully-fitted kitchen has a full-sized oven, washing machine, fridge/freezer and microwave oven. We provide for your convenience – an iron, ironing board and a hair dryer, cool box and picnic equipment.

Reception: a large bright open-plan living area. The dining table has ample space for four people. There is also a TV tuned to BFBS showing many familiar UK programmes in English. The living area has an air-conditioner/heating unit.

Outside: The pool is usually warm enough from late May to mid-October. Maintenance is carried out by the residents association and no responsibility is taken for any period of temporary unavailability.

Bathing in the sea is possible some time before the pool opens and is still warm enough well into November. For those who want to relax on the balcony, on the beach or by the pool the apartment is ideal; just bring the sun cream and the beach towels – everything else is available.

Please note: We do have a no-smoking policy in the apartment; however, guests may smoke on the balcony if they so wish.

As of 14 May, the apartment is available for the following dates:

• 23 June 2008 to 4 October 2008
• 22 November 2008 onwards

Rates per week* (in British Pounds sterling)

Payment - a 25% deposit on booking, balance a minimum of 6 weeks before departure.

*Note: the rate charged will be pro-rata, so that bookings that span two calendar months will depend on the number of days booked in each month.
